| Yes, I know it's been an awfully long time since I have done an actual blog, but to fulfil the wonderful role of a citizen journalist I shall try to convince you of some people's absolute stupidity... Starting with a sixteen year old girl in the paper today who when asked about what she thought of Peter Costello standing down responded with "I don't know who he is". So it's completely understandable if say a twelve year old may not know who Peter Costello is (though I would say an eight year old would be more acceptable), but a sixteen year old? What planet did she live on for the past thirteen years, eleven of which were led by the liberal party? Whilst I totally understand the lack of interest in politics (I for one am definitely not a massive fan of the political scene!) I find it completely appalling that someone can be so far out of this world not to know who it was that managed to get Australia out of massive debts created by the labor government (which the wonderful Krudd government has wound as back into... thanks for that Kruddy!). Anyway, here's the end of my semi-political, idiotic-people-astound-me rant. Thanks to holidays for the chance to actually sit and write again! Now I have many weeks of absolute freedom until mid-July when uni starts back. Yippee!

| In my very unbiased opinion, this is the best beach in the world!

| It was rather cold on Wednesday, in fact... the Southern Outlet and Channel Hwy were both closed... The only two routes to school... so, I couldn't get there! What a shame! But the weather is maintaining a cold snap lately... Today, I managed to get some photos of the mountain from Bellerive Bluff... Thankfully there was not a great deal of cloud so you can actually see the mountain... Karina had been asking me to take some pictures for her, so here they are!

| Snow starts to fall as you're driving down the Southern Outlet. Yep, that's right... as I was driving home from my Ancient Civs exam (yes, I think I did okay), I said to Ange "Is that ice mixed in with the rain?" she didn't think so, but as we got to the top of the outlet... What do you think should happen, but snow begins to fall! Talk about pretty... Cold! So, the maximum temperature so far today was 8.2c... Current temperature... 4.6c... Thrills.. May not be as cold as Washington DC, but for Tassie... It's pretty cold!
